At the Institute of Civil Procedure Law at Johannes Kepler University Linz, a position for a University Assistant with a diploma/master is available. The position offers dedicated graduates the opportunity to work in a scientifically stimulating environment and to gain valuable experience in both research and teaching. You will become part of a motivated team addressing current issues in civil procedure law, including its European and international dimensions, and will have the opportunity to further develop your academic qualifications.

Job Duties::

  • Participation in scientific research at the Institute, particularly in the field of civil procedural law
  • Independent participation in publications, research projects and conference contributions
  • Holding your own course
  • Support in the implementation of scientific projects
  • Support in the preparation, implementation and supervision of courses
  • Support in the preparation, implementation and support of scientific events and conferences
  • Supervision of students (including exams, seminar papers and exercises)
  • Participation in administrative and organizational tasks within the institute or faculty
  • Opportunity for further academic qualification (especially writing a dissertation)

Your Qualifications::

  • The successful candidate must hold a completed Diploma/Master's degree in law
  • Strong interest in academic work and research questions in the field of civil procedural law
  • Enjoyment of teaching and interacting with students
  • Ability to present complex issues precisely and understandably
  • High self-motivation, ability to work in a team and a structured, independent way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German (level C1) and English (level B2) skills
  • Willingness to further develop one's own scientific qualifications
