The Faculty of Medicine at the Johannes Kepler University Linz is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is sending out a strong signal for the further development of basic research. As part of a targeted impulse program, the faculty is announcing the establishment of six Young Research Groups. The aim is to give outstanding young scientists the opportunity to establish independent research groups in pioneering medical fields.
Funding will be provided for excellent projects in the following key research areas

- Developmental medicine
- Tumor Medicine
The Clinical Research Institute for Developmental Medicine contributes to expanding the scientific basis for clinically and socially effective interventions through translational research on the epidemiology, etiology, developmental processes, diagnosis and treatment options as well as the social impact of neurogenic developmental disorders and sensory impairments.
The Clinical Research Institute for Developmental Medicine (KFI Developmental Medicine) is looking for a dedicated PostDoc with international research experience to establish and lead a junior research group in the field of developmental medicine. The group will be supported by two PraeDocs and is expected to make innovative, scientifically excellent contributions in the field of implementation research of modern approaches to early detection and personalized early intervention (longitudinal) in children on the autism spectrum. The junior research group is part of a broader autism research laboratory.
